Amy Balliett is the CEO and founder of Killer Visual Strategies (formerly Killer Infographics), an industry-leading visual communication agency driving visual strategy and campaigns for Fortune 1000 clients. She owned her first company, a candy store and ice cream parlor, at the age of 17 before heading off for college. She subsequently built a successful career in SEO and marketing, and has headed up SEO at several companies.
In 2009, she partnered to build lead generation–based websites under the entity Seven Figure Project, but in the fall of 2010, the business pivoted to an entirely new model: infographic design. In the years since, Killer has delivered more than 7,000 successful campaigns consisting of infographics, motion graphics, visual language design, interactive experiences and more. Killer serves hundreds of global clients including Microsoft, Boeing, Adobe, Nikon, Starbucks, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the United Nations. Killer has won more than 30 awards in visual communication and has been named an Inc. 5000 company every year since 2016.
Amy has become a thought leader in visual communication, and has spoken at more than 175 conferences around the globe, including SXSW, Adobe MAX, and SMX Advanced. She is also an instructor at Seattle’s School of Visual Concepts, LinkedIn Learning, a guest lecturer at the University of Washington, and a regular columnist for Inc.
