While teams, venues, and organizations in the Sports and Entertainment industry have been tasked with balancing fan, player, and employee safety with the desire for continued engagement, many have leaned into digital transformation to stay on the forefront of trends and keep their fans connected to their teams. Marketing leaders from the Indiana Pacers, New York Giants, Detroit Pistons, Memphis Grizzlies, Atlanta Hawks, and Indianapolis Colts are coming together to shed some light on the exciting work they've been undertaking to innovate the fan experience. Kelly Foye is a Senior Manager, CRM & Database Strategy with the New York Football Giants. Kelly has been in the sports industry for 4 years now, across two organizations, previously working for an MLS club. Her experience before moving to the sports world was diverse, working for several years as a statistical consultant with KPMG and in market research with The Nielsen Company. Her vast experience has always been centered around analytics in each of these industries. The focus of her work with the Giants is to help the front office manage and analyze various sources of data, and enhance collaboration around Marketing, Ticket Sales, and Partnerships. In the past year, Kelly has implemented both a new CRM system and Email Marketing platform (Salesforce) for the Giants.

Beck Hartmann

Director, CRM & Data Operation at Atlanta Hawks

Beck Hartmann is the Director of CRM and Data Operations at the Atlanta Hawks and has been with the team since 2014. In this role, Beck works directly with sales, marketing, corporate partnerships, and finance to manage and build the tools needed to effectively grow and manage each area of the organization. Beck led the transition for the Hawks to Salesforce and managed the onboarding onto two new email marketing platforms, as well as the implementation of the Hawks’ first data warehouse. Before coming to Atlanta, Beck developed database marketing analytics and the ticket pricing strategy for the Miami Heat from 2010-2012. Prior to these NBA experiences, Beck blended his technology, sales, and marketing know-how at previous positions at both Peter Jacobsen Sports agency and Accenture.

Jill Marchick pursues the art and science of decoding consumer behavior. For the past two decades, she has used her skills to achieve strategic growth and profitability goals for multinational companies in diverse global markets.

Jill joined Pacers Sports & Entertainment in March 2020 as the Vice President of Customer Insights & Engagement. She focuses on fan and employee understanding to help inform strategic planning and execution across the PS&E family of brands. Prior to joining Pacers Sport & Entertainment, Jill led Consumer Insights at Aramark where she identified consumers’ preferences, thought processes and behaviors for clients and internal teams to increase engagement and sales.

In addition, Jill spent more than ten years with global responsibilities at The Hershey Company and Starbucks, directing a variety of research efforts in Asia, North America, Latin America, Europe, and the Middle East.

Jill also worked in Marketing at the McDonald’s Corporation. She began her career in Research & Planning at the global advertising agency Ogilvy & Mather. Originally from Northern California, Jill received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of California, San Diego.

Obsessed with cross-section of technology, marketing, and the customer experience led Ryan to leadership roles at ExactTarget, Salesforce, IBM, and finally – Lev. Ryan has spent the last 10 years helping the worlds largest companies in Financial Services, HLS/Pharma, Sports and Esports, and Travel and Hospitality industries. Ryan spends his time at Lev meeting with clients and executives helping to develop both particle and aspirational strategies to enhance both their client and employee experiences.

Ryan is married and has two very active boys. On the weekends you’ll find them camping, hiking, and fishing. When not taking in the great outdoors, you’ll find Ryan following his favorite Esports teams and playing a video game here and there.

Austin currently serves as the Director of Digital and Database Marketing for the Indianapolis Colts. Prior to his time in the NFL he worked in marketing and business intelligence with the Florida Panthers (NHL) , as well as with his alma mater, the University of Michigan.

Morgan currently works in Marketing Business Analytics for the Memphis Grizzlies. She's an expect in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Datorama, with skills in digital marketing, CPC advertising, email marketing, SEO, e-commerce optimization, data strategies, databases, and data warehousing. She's a graduate of The University of Memphis, with a strong background in the athletic apparel & fashion industry.
