About a month ago Sendoso incorporated recipient feedback into the gift redemption flow and I query the table every day to read for product feedback. Today, I found my favorite so far. Context: we've got a customer running a "let's meat" campaign where they're sending a box with four steaks to ICP targets. This is proof that knowing your customer and sending personalized items to your audience will generate pipeline. Also, creative messaging works. Also, we don't talk enough about how steak dinners still work even when they land on your doorstep. #SendIt #DirectMarketingAutomation

We’re looking for a needle in a haystack. A MOps expert with a growth mindset. Someone who deeply understands our martech stack and lead flows, and also wants to help us innovate personalized, automated, and AI enhanced campaigns. The right person for this role has deep experience owning core Marketing systems including advanced knowledge of Marketo and SFDC *and* they obsess over data quality, thoughtful ways to automate and scale workflows, and reporting/attribution — ways to help our team work more efficiently and make smarter, better decisions. It seems like we’re on the cusp of a big evolution in MOps toward automation and AI augmentation, but that only works on top of high quality data and processes. If you would love to spend your day optimizing a demo flow, making sure the right data is flowing into our dashboards, setting up automated nurture and outbound flows, and building whatever you need to unblock yourself as you go, this might be a good fit. Bonus points if you’re a Clay user. Full JD here: https://lnkd.in/gd-yuzeC

2024 is poised to be the biggest year ever for gifting. Here are my 2024 B2B gifting predictions👇 1. Bigger Gift Budgets for CS and AM Teams 2024 is the year of revenue retention. Companies will increase gifting budgets for customer success, account management, and anyone else building relationships with current customers. 2. Gifting Automation > CSVs For the first time, the volume of gifts sent through automated integrations will surpass those manually uploaded via spreadsheet. This shift signifies a broader trend toward scalability. 3. Sales Reps Will Embrace Gifting AI (Before Other AI) Yes, even faster than AI for email writing or social media. Sales reps will start integrating AI gift recommendations into their sales processes to establish rapport, foster relationships, and drive conversions. 4. A/B Testing Gifting Across Channels It's not gifting or another marketing channel. It's gifting *and* every marketing channel. Companies will experiment to see which combination of gifting + channel works best for their audience. We're seeing some really effective ads with gift incentives. Our Head of Product Cody Farmer posted about this last week. 5. Gifting Will Grow for Full-Cycle Sales Sales reps will leverage gifting strategically at various stages of the sales process, from initial outreach to deal closure and beyond. Gifting is proven to help with demo show rates, improved win rates, and more. 6. Gifting Data as a Competitive Advantage When is data *not* an advantage? Companies will recognize the value of the insights from gifting activities, such as recipient preferences, messaging conversion metrics, and delivery methods. 7. Focus on Group Gifting As many workplaces return to office, companies will order more "shareables" like cupcakes or cookies. Shoutout to Grove Cookie Company. This will enable senders to build brand awareness with multiple people on the buying committee at once. 8. Modern Sellers Will Prefer to Work at Companies with Gifting Budgets Companies will list tools like Sendoso in job descriptions to attract the right kind of seller to their organization. Just as modern sellers insist on access to sales engagement platforms and conversational intelligence tools, they will demand support for gifting initiatives. TL;DR: Gifting is evolving right along with the rest of the revenue world. How is your gifting strategy evolving this year?

What most marketers do: - Treat ABM as a siloed target account list motion owned by one person/team. - Focus on a few channels as separate investments (Gifting as an isolated, transactional SDR meeting booker tactic; paid LI isn’t closely connected to outbound or event strategies). What great marketers do: - Define a tight ICP and use fit/intent signals to trigger meaningful connection points across the customer journey to build mindshare and trust with best-fit accounts (everything is ABM). - Obsess over using different channels, tools and tactics *together* to weave a stronger multithreaded story and experience for best-fit accounts (personalized gifting integrated into LI ads and webinar/event touchpoints that reach the same accounts you’re outbounding to with a cohesive message).

When was the last time the CSM for a product you use reached out to you for any of the following reasons: 1) to inquire about a role on your website that you're hiring for, and ask if they could maybe send any candidates your way 2) to congratulate you / your team on top notch usage or milestones of the product 3) for a heads up that they sent you a small gift in the mail through Sendoso just cuz... 4) to recognize you / your company around positive news / PR / award recently won 5) to reference a recent post you made on linkedin + share their thoughts on it 6) with a suggestion or recommendation to another vendor you might consider using, based on the needs you have expressed within your business Perhaps the really really good CSMs have engaged in this sort of interaction with you recently. But I'm assuming you are not on the recieiving end of it very often. Any CSM can send an email at 90 / 180 days to do a check-in / QBR, and share some sort of usage report. and YES, that's a critical part of the role. But if you really want to establish better relationships with clients, set aside the CSM checklist now and then, and engage human to human. Friends, this is a huge unlock for CSMs - leading to stronger relationships, generating better responsiveness from clients, increasing ability to multi thread, and positioning your service to be "taken with" if your POC leaves for another company. If my CSM interacts with me in some of the ways above, I view them as a partner (not a vendor) and thus... -when they wanna do a QBR, I inherently agree -when they reach out, I respectfully reply post haste -when they ask for a referral, I strongly consider it -when they inquire about agreed upon implementation / adoption milestones, I'm accountable. PS - this type of work does NOT have to require lots of time. If you're smart with alerts / zaps / time blocking, you can gather the info you need on your book of accounts with ease, and then spend the meat of your time in thoughtful, personal engagement.
