On Friday, October 21, there were a number of widely-reported outages and disruptions of service to hundreds of websites as a result of an unprecedented distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack on a Domain Name System (DNS) service provider named Dyn. Eventbrite uses Dyn as its DNS service provider, and when DNS services are not working as they should, there is no way for your browser to find our website even if our systems are up and running perfectly fine.
