Data.com is Shutting Down - Adapt.io
Salesforce acquired Data.com (previously known as Jigsaw), back in 2010. It was a crowd-sourced data provider. The database was created by users adding, exchanging and updating contact information on the platform. Salesforce.com has said that it wants to focus on data integration.
