Changes in our world's climate are already sending red flags that the time for action is running short. We recognize the scale and urgency of the situation and I'm very proud that Oracle continues to build on our earlier goals to slash heat-trapping greenhouse emissions from our operations, data centers, and from among our suppliers.

A new report from the United Nations warns that the planet is on track to warm by more than 2.7 degrees Celsius by the end of the century. This level of crisis is why we've joined the UN-led Race to Zero and the Exponential Roadmap Initiative, an organization that has developed a scientific framework for helping companies, communities and entire countries meet this challenge.

Oracle's goals are ambitious, specific, and – I'm proud to say – significant milestones towards halting or reversing climate change before it becomes truly irreversible.
