In 2018, Oracle's cloud energy consumption increased 4% to 404 gigawatt hours (GWh) compared to 390 GWh in 2017. Even with the growth in Oracle's electricity consumption, we were still able to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels by roughly 70%. As we continue to grow our network globally, we will continue to ensure we are leveraging renewable energy solutions from our suppliers. Oracle's energy mix in 2018 was 32% fossil fuel, 6% nuclear, and 62% renewable energy.
