Follow this easy tutorial to stay on top of trends and keep the narrative under your control:
- First, check out your listening search dashboards to see what you want to dive into
- To create a search, click the top right-hand corner and open search creation
- Give your search a title and description for safekeeping
- Tune into all the sources you want to keep an ear out for, like Facebook, Twitter (X), Instagram, or your favorite platform
- Build parameters around your search like mentions of profiles, region-specific pages, hashtags, etc
- Don't be afraid to expand or narrow down your listening search! Fine-tune it until you find what works for you
- Then, once you're satisfied, save your search
- Recent results will appear in the metrics of your search, and you can analyze details like sentiment analysis, conversation trends, etc
- Options: Set a date range, block out the competition, watch volume or awareness of a topic or brand, monitor trends, etc
- Set listening alerts so you can keep up with every new change by 1) clicking alerts within the dashboard search itself, 2) creating alerts based on particular metrics, and/or 3) watching out for positive/negative content
