Over the last few weeks there has been a great deal of speculation on the state of venture capital. While some firms Tweet and signal "they're open for business," others are saying "to cut burn, extend runway, raising will be very difficult." In an effort to get to the bottom of this we used our Connect Investor Database to discover what firms are open and what they are saying about fundraising given the current circumstances.
