I love language, writing, wordcraft, and general cleverness. I also love animals, homesteading and working with my hands!

My education and work experience support my desire to continue writing and editing. My skills have been informed and improved by my employment as a medical transcriptionist, legal transcriptionist, copywriter and editor, and contract transcription editor.

My hands-on experience recommends what I call my "alternate resume" which includes farm management, floral design, agricultural internship, art direction, and ballroom dance.

I am proud to have given back to Asheville by volunteering at Gladheart Organic Farm, the WNC Nature Center, Brother Wolf Animal Rescue, and The Learning Community School in Black Mountain.
