As the Senior Sub-Editor at Moneycontrol, I am primarily responsible for editing copies, managing live blogs, curating news spots, and everything a newsroom desk does. I also write long-form content and explainers on international relations and politics.
Before Moneycontrol, I worked with The Economic Times (Digital) as Principal Content Producer and contributed to daily Newsletters, and news curations with respect to anything and everything happening in the blooming startup space.
My journalism career, however, started with CNBC-TV18's Breaking News desk where I was responsible for breaking news on the channel and on social media, in real time. As an Assistant Producer at CNBC-TV18, I have contributed to the channel during market hours as well as post-market hours.
To enhance my networking, creativity, and analytical skills, I also grabbed the opportunity to work as a Content Writer at a market research agency, YouGov and SaaS company WebEngage. They were short but enlightening stints.
Apart from being a journalist, I also hold a special interest in politics, hence I am pursuing Master of Arts in Political Science from Indira Gandhi National Open University, Delhi. In my free time, I enjoy writing, reading, studying, and watching interesting content. I am an acute foodie and people often find me sipping coffee at any given time of the day.
