I am a digital designer and specialize in user experience design (competitor and customer analysis, user research, prototyping, and wireframing) and graphical UI design (visual design).
I hold an AA degree in Fine Arts and BA in Modern Languages. However, I believe in constant learning, and in order to gain expertise in UX design, I take part in online digital design programs, with IBM Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner certification being the most current one. I pursue my interest in UX design (qualitative and quantitative; generative and evaluative research, wireframe, prototype), UI (visual, high fidelity comps), and interaction design (prototype, animation).
Currently, I work at IBM Cloud as a Product Designer. I contribute as a UX and UI designer, providing input from conducting user research and competitive analysis and data synthesis to providing rapid prototyping deliverables and high-fidelity prototypes and specifications of the web to the front-end development team following agile principles.
Experience of living in four different countries in Eastern and Western Europe and the United States, as well as having a broad experience in different areas, I have learned how to look at the same issue from a variety of different angles. Before moving to design, I cumulatively had six years of experience in hospitality (helped to launch two fine dining restaurants), NGO (a leading member of the organizing committee of the European Chess Championship), HR, and executive assistantship at Expcapital, a leading developer of trading software solutions, and sales in designer retail and jewelry. This range of experience plays a crucial role for me as a UX designer now. I’ve learned how to become more empathetic, make mistakes, fail fast, be curious, ask the right questions, and understand users’ needs.
