☛Who I am
Hi! I’m Alexandra Spalato, but those who know me call me Alex. I am a self-taught Web Developer with 10+ years of front-end development and design experience. I have always had a passion for innovation. I am an artist by heart and have an insatiable thirst for learning, growing, communicating, and creating. Given my unyielding passion for disruptive technologies, I co-founded GatsbyWPThemes, creating the first WordPress + GatsbyJS premium themes product on the market.
I began my career working in finance and pharmaceuticals but knew I had much more to offer the world. So, in 2012, I took a leap of faith, and took my first step working as a Developer. Not a day goes by that I haven’t loved every minute of it.

Within just two short years, I joined the incredible team of Codeable WordPress experts. Here, I helped startups and businesses around the world strengthen their branding, voice, and online presence through high-quality custom theme development.
☛ How I do it
I enjoy honing my technical skills and can be found participating in ongoing learning and development workshops, courses, etc. In 2018, I completed an intensive 11-week Bootcamp course through ISDI Coders on Full-Stack JavaScript Development, and have devoted much of my time and energy to learning all about the Jamstack.
If one thing can be said about me, it is that I deliver quality and value. I am an advocate for modern frameworks and take pride in building global tools that transform the way we do business.
In my more recent years, I have worked to build bridges between the WordPress ecosystem and Jamstack architecture, resulting in exciting new speaking engagements throughout the country, including Gatsby Days in London, JavaScript for WordPress Conferences, and invited Guest Speaker across various podcasts.
