Founder of Aptec, the IT company he started as a student and grew to a $2 Billion company by 2022. Following its acquisition by Ingram Micro, now, as Senior Vice President, Dr. Baghdadi is involved in the management and transformation of this $50 Billion US$ IT company.

Ali is an Inventor with several patents pending in AI and Cyber Security. Ali is also Co-founder of several Software companies in the field of Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security and Telecoms. These include Cybral Inc, Softec, GetBee, Aptelecom and others where he acts as Investor, advisor or board member.

As a computer Scientist and serial entrepreneur, his ambition has been to use Technology to drive positive change in the World. He built a group of companies operating in the USA, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia, established and acquired over 20 different companies in the fields of IT, Cyber Security, Telecommunications, Hi Tech Services, storage media manufacturing, solar technology and aviation technology.

Ali Studied Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering, then obtained an MSc and PhD in computer science from Imperial College – London. He believes in continuous learning and has attended courses at Stanford University Business School.
As well as his IT background, he is an advocate of renewable energy and encouraging entrepreneurship. He is recognized as an advocate and International speaker on Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Technology.

Ali sponsors and is an advisor to an ambitious space program known as the Karman Space Program. It is driven by students at Imperial College London and aims to reach outer space with re-usable rockets.

Adding to this, Ali is a film producer and a member of IMDB. He Co-produced several movies; some did win awards at Cannes Film Festival. These include ‘Last Days of the City’, ‘Yomeddine’, ‘The Inventor animation’ and ‘Renner the AI horror film’.
