Amina Brooks

Amina Brooks is an Oakland, CA native who currently lives in the Millsmont area. Amina is an entrepreneur, wife and mother of 4 children. Amina and her husband Jesse created trapxart® back in 2013. Trapxart started a an event that created a safe space for young urban artists to have a hub to showcase and sell their artwork. Additionally, trapxart® is a place to network and build relationships with other creatives. Since 2013, the events have spread worldwide and have jumpstarted thousands of artists' careers. In addition to events, trapxart® supports and promotes artists through virtual services including a monthly digital magazine, IG live interviews and performance opportunities on our platform. Trapxart® also hosts a creative directory that features all sorts of creatives from different mediums/industries. The goal at trapxart® is to continue to create new avenues for artists, creatives and entrepreneurs to excel.
