When I was 18, I packed up my courage, fears, hopes, goals, dreams and my trusty study buddy, my whiteboard, and headed 900 miles south from Michigan. I arrived at my destination- the home of Mike the Tiger, a community of 26,000 students, 12,000 live oak trees, amazing professors, and the very best alumni and fans in all of college sports-Louisiana State University. Immersed in a sea of purple and gold, I felt like I had personally joined LSU's team to claim victory over the university's arch enemy, the University of Alabama.

Being from Michigan, I quickly found out about southern hospitality, unbelievable food, roaring SEC fans, but most importantly, my passion for Mass Communication.

I was privileged to obtain four incredible, career-focused internships while at LSU: Celtic Media Centre, the All Star Automotive Group, Bionic Monkey, and Louisiana Workers’ Compensation Corporation.

What I am most proud of is that I did not just graduate with a degree in Mass Communication with a concentration in Digital Advertising and a minor in Spanish, but I moved away from my home of 18 years, conquered several college obstacles, worked exceptionally hard in the classroom and gained practical experience with four awesome Baton Rouge companies.

What did I learn about myself? That I am okay with being uncomfortable, I love meeting new people, I am creative, I am obsessed with digital advertising and everything it has to offer, and that I really enjoy developing and executing a strategic tactical plan. I thoroughly enjoyed serving as Media Planner for our Mass Communication team, winning our district competition, and beating Alabama.

I look forward to connecting with you! Please reach out to me at [email protected] or send me a direct message on LinkedIn!
