With 20+ years of education, team management, teaching and counseling experience, I remain a firm believer that everyone has the ability to contribute in a meaningful way. Education is the primary tool one can use to achieve their career goals and aspirations, which is why it continues to be something that I am incredibly passionate about. I am to contribute towards every work environment by leading with empathy, radical candor and an emphasis on continued learning.
Additionally, I have over 15 years of experience producing and hosting live comedy events and podcasts. I produced a live stand-up show "Comedy Outliers" for over six years that was critically acclaimed by TimeOut NY, the NY Times and was featured in the NY Comedy Festival sponsored by Comedy Central.
Currently I am a film screenwriter and co-host/producer of the movie-themed podcast "Medium Popcorn", which is certified by "Rotten Tomatoes" and has been featured in RogerEbert.com, TimeOut NY, Splitsider and the Huffington Post. Another project that is also thriving is "Drunk Black History", a showcase that is dedicated to highlighting African Americans who have had an incredible impact on US history. This show has been featured in the NY Times, Boston Globe, Afro.com and TimeOut NY.
