In fifth grade, I stumped my teacher when I asked her to explain the difference between "it's" and "its." I knew that pesky little apostrophe had to mean something—and I simply couldn't go on until I figured out what it was.

Since then, my obsession with writing that is not only good—but also technically flawless—has grown into a career I love. As a trained journalist, I live for stories that are as compelling as they are accurate—and as a marketer, I'm driven by clicks and conversions. Effective content marketing hinges on both.

Before joining the marketing team at Postscript in 2021 and Eleos Health in 2023, I spent eight-plus years helping to grow WebPT into the market-leading software solution in physical therapy and an eight-time Inc. 5000 honoree. WebPT's content marketing and thought leadership program was a cornerstone of our success—and one of our main differentiators in the healthcare technology market. In fact, we became the third most-sought resource for physical therapy information and news—behind only the American Physical Therapy Association and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

By owning the marketing funnel all the way up to the demo request, we delivered thousands of high-quality leads a year (and avoided the all-too-common sales-versus-marketing conflict). In other words, we didn't just feed the funnel; we fueled it.

Under my leadership, WebPT's content team received Best in Biz’s 2016 Blog of the Year Award as well as the American Business Awards’ 2017 Silver Stevie for Branded Content Campaign of the Year. In 2019, we secured a Silver eHealthcare Leadership Award for Best Healthcare Content Site. Also in 2019, I was honored with one of Demand Gen Report’s B2B Innovator Awards in the “Data Scientists & Operations Optimizers” category for my work on WebPT’s annual State of Rehab Therapy industry survey and report. My team also took gold at the 2020 CEO World Awards for Communications or PR Campaign of the Year, COVID-19-related Information. Most recently, we were honored with the Medigy HITMC 2021 Blog of the Year award.

When I'm not dreaming up my next big content campaign, you can find me running one of Arizona's many desert trails, shaking up a craft cocktail, or snuggling with my 50-pound lap dog.
