With over 25 years of experience in software development and innovation, Dan is a Distinguished Engineer at DocuSign, where he leads the integration of Clause.io people and technology into the DocuSign Smart Agreement Cloud. He was the Co-Founder and CTO of Clause.io, a platform that enables smart legal contracts on the blockchain.
Dan is passionate about creating great software that solves real-world problems and delivers value to customers. He is an expert in business and IT collaboration, software automation, open source, artificial intelligence, blockchain, event and stream processing, and rule-based systems. He has authored multiple patents and publications, and is a maintainer at Accord Project, a Linux Foundation initiative. He is also a technology advisor and a non-executive director for several organizations.
