Ernesto Vega, the founder and CEO of Canvas Real Estate, set out to create a new model real estate brokerage. Ernesto has lived in South Florida for the last forty years and has spent the
last 2 decades dedicated to the thriving real estate industry. His commitment to this area’s growth and to the development of his agents’ careers is evidenced by the consistent and vast volume of transactions under his purview.

Ernesto’s extensive expertise in real estate management, marketing and team motivation, gained through his field work and on-going leadership roles, have earned him the respect and recognition of peers throughout the real estate industry. He is personally vested in the growth and development of his agents and peers. Over the last 10 years, he has supported the blossoming of new leaders in the field through mentorship, and personnel encouragement. He is heavily involved in philanthropy in South Florida supporting local educational institutions and community organizations locally and abroad.
In addition, his personal involvement with international relocation helps him deal compassionately in a qualified manner with those relocating their lives and/or livelihood, whether around the
world or across town.

Ernesto believes that one of the keys to success, for himself and his team of real estate professionals, is continuously strengthening our 4 pillars (Integrity, Technology, Teamwork and Results). Keeping a watchful eye on evolving trends and changes in real estate, he has earned a number of designations and affiliations throughout the state and nationwide.

Ernesto is married to Melissa Vega, COO of Canvas Real Estate. Together, they have raised two boys Michael and Matthew, and they currently live in the city of Fort Lauderdale.
