I translate complex contractual and commercial principles into plain English. My strengths are in drafting and reviewing contracts and preparing contract clarifications at tender stage. I deliver advice that ensures my clients, their clients and their suppliers and subcontractors understand exactly where everyone stands.

I've drafted and reviewed thousands of design services and consulting agreements, construction contracts and other commercial and legal documents. I'm at ease drafting contract templates and terms and conditions, as well as amendments for all of the Australian Standard form contracts.

My experience negotiating public and private sector contracts across large-scale engineering, construction, infrastructure and consulting projects stands me in good stead to advise and represent a broad spectrum of businesses, from SMEs to large corporates. I was an in-house lawyer for 8 years, so I know exactly what it is like to be client-side and need targeted, practical legal advice.

I love demystifying contract and legal concepts in face-to-face workshops. I regularly facilitate contract law and risk management workshops at AIMWA and develop and present in-house training to sales, procurement and commercial teams. 12 years in the construction industry has provided me with war stories galore.
