Honesty. A bit of humour. And a dab hand with the written word (without becoming that boring guy at the Christmas party who won’t stop banging on about the Oxford comma*).
That’s my recipe for being a writer. I think it’s a pretty good one. Especially with a dash of lime.
(*In fairness, the Oxford comma is pretty amazing. It won a court case. Top that.)
