Product Manager at the intersection of Security, Business, Engineering, and Design.
My journey in cybersecurity started with an Information Security class I took in my second year of college (hello, Alice and Bob!). From learning about public/private key pairs to now devising products to prevent certificate-related outages for over 150,000 Salesforce customers of all sizes, my entire career has revolved around one goal: making security usable and accessible to all.
As a Product Manager in the Salesforce Network Software team, I am responsible for driving the vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution for my product portfolio, and collaborating with customers and stakeholders to deliver business outcomes.
I am a recent graduate from Carnegie Mellon University with a Masters in Information Security Policy & Management. During these 2 years, I learned to critically and holistically examine cybersecurity challenges from a policy, strategy, technical, and management perspective. Along with understanding the complex risk landscape of today's digital world, the program trained me to manage cyber technologies and projects to fortify organizations' cyber posture against current and emerging threats.
Prior to grad school, I worked in cybersecurity consulting at EY India, focusing on advisory and audit engagements. My time at EY allowed me to gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of IT consulting solutions pertaining to Information Security, Data Privacy (GDPR), IT Audits and Data Analytics & Visualization. It also instilled in me a knack for managing a set of diverse stakeholders to understand and execute on client requirements. On a lighter note, I took away two things from my time in consulting: a wonderful set of people that I am honored to call my friends, and the ability to create beautiful slide decks!
Cybersecurity and privacy is a life-long passion, and it is always a joy to connect with like-minded professionals in the same field.
