Jean Baik is the founder and CMO of Baik Brands, Inc. - the parent company for ShopMissA.com and MISS A stores. After getting her degree from the University of California, Berkeley, Jean attended Parsons School of Design in New York City. After working the in fashion industry for a few years, born on the idea of selling everything for one dollar, Jean launched MISS A along with her husband, co-founder and CEO Kenneth Baik, in 2013.

The entrepreneur prides herself on creating a destination that is a “playground for experimentation” with a wide range of cosmetics, accessories and lifestyle goods that lets the consumer test out new products, colors and trends without spending a fortune to achieve their desired look. Since the launch, the brand has expanded to over 400 employees and 30 brick and mortar locations.

In 2016, Jean took her passion for beauty to the next level by launching her own line of makeup and beauty tools, AOA Studio. Sticking with her mission of affordable beauty, since then, MISS A has introduced a lifestyle line, Official Key Items, as well as an affordable skincare line, AOA Skin and innovative cosmetic line a2o Lab.

As Chief Merchandising Officer, Jean focuses on creating, sourcing and launching timely new items that are trending in the beauty space. She spends her time attending international trade shows and meeting with manufacturers all over the world to bring the best of the beauty industry to the MISS A consumer.
