Jenn speaks regularly to university, college and high school students about social entrepreneurship, empathy and the history of her Indigenous family. Jenn has also been invited to speak to various entrepreneur groups, women in business associations, Apple Canada, and First Nations organizations across North America.
In 2017 Jenn Harper was awarded the “Social Enterprise Award” at the 17th Annual Women in Business Awards by the Women in Niagara (WIN) Council and the Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce (GNCC) for her work on Cheekbone Beauty. In 2018 Jenn was invited to sit at the table with Prime Minster Trudeau and discuss the strategy for the Women Entrepreneurs Fund (WEF). Most recent Jenn faced the Dragons on CBC Dragons Den which will air on their season premiere on September 26th 2019! On June 6th 2019 Cheekbone Beauty Cosmetics INC was awarded the “Social Enterprise of the Year” in Ontario by Start Up Canada!
To date over $150k in cash and products has been donated to support Indigenous youth, Indigenous women and Sustainability efforts.
