I have a proven track record in staff development, budget accountability, program development, community involvement, member-centered customer service, fundraising and retention as well as being a people oriented individual with a focus on constantly improving the member experience and building connections within and outside of the facility. I also have experience working in diverse populations and with health & fitness operations, including group exercise. I can multi-task in an extremely fast paced, ever changing, demanding environment.

I am a nonprofit professional who worked for the YMCA for nearly 20 years. My early experience in the field of aquatics was as a lifeguard and trainer, and am currently certified in First Aid, CPR Pro, Oxygen Administration, and Lifeguarding. I am also an instructor for all of the above certifications. I consider myself to be a hard worker and a team player.

In my short time as a Health and Wellness professional I was able to add many new skills and management techniques to my style. That role required me to manage a different variety of staff and face different challenges in serving our members and provide them with a positive and engaging environment.

My objectives are to continue to develop myself both personally and professionally. In the future I would see myself as an executive director of a nonprofit organization where I could use my leadership skills and human services background to help implement positive social change.
