Hi 👋, I'm John Bellamy.

𝐈 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 ‘𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐦𝐞’ 𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐝𝐈𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐞𝐛𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬. I’ve written a bunch of them for my clients over the years and always find them interesting to read.

Now, if we haven’t had the privilege of connecting yet - here’s a little more about me, why I love LinkedIn and why you might want to connect with me, today.

After finishing school in 1997 I went straight into the workforce (skipped uni after a couple of attempts - hated it).

𝐈 𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐢𝐧 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 and began perfecting my craft working for companies like Salmat and Drake International before sinking my teeth into the world of entrepreneurship.

After a whole bunch of testing, measuring and tweaking - I landed on my feet with LinkedIn. I was fortunate that I got a bunch of invites early on when LinkedIn was starting to make some headway into the Australian market - I capitalised on it.

Roger (Founder of DarkXposed), responded to a LinkedIn message. He was looking for a marketing partner. I came on board and have since invested in the company and am now the CEO, Managing Director.
