A native of London, England, I have been fortunate to enjoy two very different, but equally challenging, competitive and rewarding careers.
Between the years of 1990 and 1998 I pursued a career as a professional racing driver, racing around Europe, Asia, the USA & Canada. In that time I won two national championships and over 20 races.
After hanging up my helmet in 1999 I turned my attention to business, in particular the Internet, which at the time was at the deepest depth's of the dotcom crash. (I had some racing crashes too, so it didn't scare me)
A natural communicator, I have a passion for using the internet to solve everyday problems, with better solutions for predominantly sales, marketing and training. I am also an energetic presenter, having appeared on several TV shows, radio shows and public speaking engagements, such as conferences.
Currently our mission at StudentBridge is to vastly improve (and leave a long lasting mark) on the annual grind that is college selection for students, and the subsequent recruitment efforts of colleges to find the right student.
I love start-ups and really relate to the entrepreneur's mindset. I am driven by identifying pains/needs, solving problems, creating opportunities and growing companies. My mission is to guide and helm fast-growth companies that return value to their team members, their investors and their customers/users. I enjoy working with people from across the spectrum, from investors, to C-Suite all the way to the people that make the difference - the executers.
When not working you will find me spending time with my wife and two daughters and in any rare spare time, flying. I hold my private pilots certificate for both fixed wing and rotorcraft, as well as my instrument rating. I play golf badly and bowl even worse - but am happy to do either.
