Hi, I'm Julia, CPACC, Dev & UX Accessibility Specialist, content creator and freelancer. Since I started working with web development and accessibility in 2020, I have written many blog posts about accessibility and given short talks on the topic.
As a specialist, I guide development teams to learn about accessibility, test websites and documents for accessibility and capture accessibility issues via WCAG accessibility audits and issue tickets, am involved in the web development process to ensure accessibility is part of the process all the time, and give in-house or online workshops about accessibility frontend components, improving the accessibility of the companies product hands-on, and more.
As a content creator, I write articles on various accessibility topics, translate accessible content from English to German and vice versa, create video content and internal as well as external presentations, infographics, and such.
I am a Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC). I am a member of IAAP and active in the Education Accessibility Working Group.
