Julie Rogers is a San Francisco-based public company Chief People Officer, with strategic operator expertise in organizational design, change management, leadership development, and championing fair and equitable People practices in high-growth technology companies. Julie has always had an insatiable curiosity about human behavior, and when she entered the world of HR almost 30 years ago, her explorations found a new outlet. Gaining mastery of running a well-oiled HR shop during the first dot-com boom, Julie has practiced her craft primarily in the tech industry, leading startups through growth (and contraction), regularly poking at traditional approaches leveraging first principles methodology, establishing leading practices, gaining insights into what motivates and inspires folks, and creating an environment for them to do their best ever work. She's an advisor for companies in the peopletech space, and actively supports, advocates for, and invests in female-founded & -led businesses. Julie is a graduate of the University of California at Santa Cruz, with a BA in Anthropology (with a focus on Medical Anthropology).
