Edtech Strategist & Leader | Leading Teacher Engagement & Strategic Partnerships
Passionate about leveraging technology to improve student engagement and learning outcomes. With 24 years of teaching and coaching experience, I’ve successfully supported educators in transforming their classrooms with accessible, user-friendly edtech tools. I've led initiatives that transformed learning for students and teachers worldwide.
I’ve led hundreds of webinars on edtech products, instructional pedagogy, and in collaboration with other companies, while also contributing to content and product marketing through blog posts and social media campaigns. As a systems thinker, I constantly seek ways to optimize workflows and processes, from refining marketing funnels to enhancing educator engagement strategies.
In addition to my marketing work, I collaborate closely with product teams to ensure that platform improvements align with the real-world needs of educators. By leveraging feedback and insights from the education community, I help drive product enhancements that improve both teacher and student experiences. My ability to build and nurture strategic partnerships has expanded BookWidgets' reach, enabling innovative solutions that better meet the evolving needs of educators.
I continue to refine leadership and community-building skills that seamlessly translate from swim coaching and teaching into my role in edtech. By fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for athletes, I develop strong, goal-oriented teams—an approach I apply when engaging educators and building connections within the BookWidgets community and beyond. My ability to mentor swimmers with personalized feedback to help them achieve their best directly mirrors how I guide educators in integrating technology to enhance learning outcomes. Drawing on strategic planning and adaptability, I create tailored solutions that drive both individual and collective success, whether on the pool deck or in the classroom. These ongoing experiences in leadership and problem-solving allow me to continually engage and empower educators in their professional growth.
