Implemented several events this year to foster community engagement including Impact Vineyard Community Fair, Neighborhood Town Halls, Impact Vineyard Award Ceremony and a 25 year time capsule ceremony.

Spearheaded the expansion and funding of the Vineyard Community Garden, doubling the amount of boxes available to residents.
Promoted and advocated for the creation of Vineyard Cares, including branding and providing support. Worked extensively with council and senior staff in the emergency preparedness plan.
Assisted city departments with the promotion of their many initiatives and events, including the TMP, Active Transportation Plan and Park Corridor Plan.
Built relationships with partners and stakeholders including UVU, Woodbury, Get Healthy Utah, CUWCD, Utah County emergency management team, Orem Community Hospital and many others.
Solidified launch process for new business openings.
Worked extensively with Daily Herald and other media outlets for positive coverage of Vineyard. Introduced weekly emails and reels and initiated city website redesign.
Wrote ordinances and helped to create commissions, including the Library Board, CTC Commission and the ARCH Commission.
Oversaw Vineyard Kindness Week and the Vineyard Well-Being Survey.

A graduate of Brigham Young University with a degree in Public Relations, I enjoyed opportunities right after college working as a scheduler in the Washington D.C. offices of Congressmen Bill Orton of Utah and Congressman Ron Kind of Wisconsin. I also worked for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in their Public Affairs Office in Washington, D.C. as a media relations specialist. As Communications Manager for the City of Vineyard, UT, the fastest growing city in Utah, I enjoy working in public relations and community engagement. I graduated in April 2022 with a master's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Southern Utah University, with an emphasis in Professional Communications and Social Media and Public Relations.
