I am extremely proud of my 20 year career in the Property Management industry. I love this business, and never get tired of explaining what I do to my family (most of which live on farms in rural communities). I can't praise my mentors enough and am grateful to have so many people setting examples for me in how to treat people, how to earn trust, and how to stay sharp and ready for anything. I'm a researcher by nature; I rarely leave anything at surface level knowledge. I'm likely to read a book, grab an article, find a podcast, or a TEDtalk on a variety of topics so that the next time I see you we can continue our conversation.

I pride myself on composure. It's not that I don't experience feelings or emotions - my consistent response to just about anything is simply a way for me to signal to all around me that "we've got this; we can handle this, let's get started". That predictability in reaction is important to me, and from what I've been told, valued by those in my orbit.

On a lighter note - in my spare time I'm out here working on my mom-game. I take snack duty to a whole new level while doing "volleymom stuff" most weekends at tournaments. I love watching my daughter do what she loves most which entails bruises, blood, tears, fear, competition, drive, celebrations, pure joy and all that comes with club volleyball. She gets a healthy dose of sports metaphors as I try to teach her life lessons by referencing plays, wins, losses, positions and teamwork (or lack thereof).
