With 18+ years of accumulated experience working in Brussels, I was appointed March 2022 to lead ENAR, the European Network Against Racism as its Director General with a mandate to guide its institutional development and operations. I am in charge of organisational, financial, and administrative management of ENAR and its Foundation, supervising a talented team of experts.
For 9+ years, I led ESOMAR's Public Affairs and Professional Standards teams and was also tasked for several years with leading the marketing and communications team. I have also successfully worked in the European Parliament, a British regional office, and headed up the Brussels secretariat of a European civil society network covering most of the EU. I have contributed to a variety of policy agendas including diversity and social inclusion, employment, education and social affairs, civil society, regional cohesion, privacy and data protection, and the digital and SME agendas.
A "Third-Culture Kid," I thrive in multicultural environments. I enjoy taking on challenges that allow me to make use of my entrepreneurial spirit, organisational management skills, and my ability to set and communicate strategic visions, and deliver on them using my executive abilities.
