I am an architect with 18+ years of experience and I am passionate about coding, designing and architecting systems, analyze performance and scalability and above all mentoring and driving the team to create high quality software products. I believe in continuous innovation and learning and applying this to the product implementation to solve enhance the customer experience. I am passionate about the current technology revolution that containers , microservices architecture, Cloud computing and Devops has brought in to not only create scalable distributed system but also making the life of Developers and Operations engineers easier.
• A J2EE and Cloud/Devops architect with 18+ years of software development and design experience. Currently I am working as a chief architect for Hybrid Cloud Management (HCM) product in Microfocus managing 5 scrum teams and coordinating with 200+ team size (16 scrum teams) size across 4 geographies following SAFE Agile methodology.
• Expertise in the transition of multiple monolithic standalone applications into cloud native scalable microservices in Kubernetes. Actively working in Kubernetes and Docker for past 5 years
Experience in configuring and hosting scalable SaaS applications in AWS. Have deployed applications in AWS EKS and ECS. Also basic knowledge of GCP
• Implemented the SaaS transition, I have first-hand experience in designing and implementing applications to be multi-tenant by adopting suitable multitenancy model. I am an AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate.
• 10 Patents with 4 Grants in the areas of Devops, Hybrid Cloud management. Technical presentations in Hewlett Packard Techcon, Docker meet up #23, Devops Meet up.
• Defined the Devops strategy and the CI/CD pipeline process to speed up and improve the quality of product releases. Worked on various tools like Jenkins, Ansible automation tool.
• Extensive experience in design and development of J2EE applications using Spring boot, Tomcat, Ratpack, Hibernate, Spring, REST API, Apache Kafka, API gateway with Open API3. I have resolved multiple performance issues in J2EE applications, thread and heap stack analysis. Worked in Pivotal Cloud Foundry PaaS, ELK stack, GCP (Google Cloud Provider) and OpenStack private cloud.
