Schlegel is leading the all-new Product Marketing function at Weber-Stephen Products LLC, helping bring to life the most innovative, legendary grills in the world. Prior to Wilson, Schlegel was most recently at Wilson Sporting Goods Co., having led the global marketing organization for the company's iconic Racquet Sports business. After nearly 13 years at Procter & Gamble, Schlegel spent 3+ years helping to transform the Louisville Slugger brand prior to its acquisition by Wilson in 2015. He has worked both domestically and internationally on widely recognized and highly marketed brands; including Louisville Slugger, Herbal Essences, Old Spice, Aussie and Wella. Now, as a proven marketing vet, he was most recently responsible for all marketing strategy & execution across the Wilson Racquet Sports portfolio, the #1 and most iconic name in the sport. Schlegel has a wide array of experience and a proven track record of success in growing sales and market share, branding, innovation, line extension, retailer/customer collaboration, in-market execution and leadership.

In 2013, Schlegel received the Rising Star Award from The CMO Club, recognizing some of the top marketing leaders with less than 15 years experience. And, in 2014, Schlegel was named one of the "40 Under 40" in marketing and advertising by Advertising Age and named to the Louisville Business First "40 Under 40 in Business" in the Greater Louisville area.

Today, Schlegel resides in Winnetka, IL with his wife (Audra), daughter (Madeline) and furry family member, his dog (Izzy), a rapidly growing Newfoundland pup. While sports plays a different role in life today, Schlegel still fits it in wherever he can among other priorities in life, such as friends, family, faith and serving others.
