I’m currently going back to school for a Master of Art in Counseling at Boise State University, with the ultimate goal of becoming a therapist. My passion lies in helping those suffering with mental health related illnesses, especially eating disorders and addiction, and contributing to research on these topics.

Long before I decided to study psychology and counseling, I received an associate's degree in business. I have over 10 years of experience in event planning and administrative assistance in the corporate food/beverage industries.

You might wonder how my experience in administrative assistance and event management can overlap with the mental health field. Well, building relationships has been a huge part of my past positions—with vendors, partners, clients, customers, and employees.

I'm a compassionate person with a heart for helping others. People have always been my top priority. Combined with my attention to detail, this means I have the interpersonal skills to help anyone achieve their goals and the business-mind for action.
