I am an executive with 18 years of experience leading business growth, operations, marketing and internationalisation, with a unique understanding of the startup sector. I was at TechCrunch when it was near collapse in 2012 and was part of the inner circle that rebuilt it from a struggling blog into a globally respected media brand and business. During this time I experienced first-hand a series of M&A transactions when the company was acquired by Aol, then merged with Yahoo, and acquired by $VZ. Consequently, I also served as a Senior Director at $VZ Media Group, and a Director at Aol, and Oath (Aol + Yahoo). I managed both sides of a P&L and was responsible for 60% of TechCrunch's revenue. My international experience included entering Europe, Scandinavia, the UK, Sub-saharan Africa, the Middle East, Korea, Australia, and South America.
An excellent communicator, I bring exceptional exposure, experience, and global networks in venture capital, DEI, all sectors of technology, academia, inward investment agencies, governments, startup unicorns, legacy media (print and broadcast), tech media, and public relations and marketing. I mentor women-founded businesses and advise startups.
I'm passionate about supporting people as they reach their fullest potential, and love media, running, reading, and spending time with my family.
