I lead a team of innovative, analytical, strategic, and amazing humans at Campus Sonar. We partner with higher education focused leadership teams to guide research-led transformation. My team of strategic experts uses data-driven insights and expertise to counsel leaders in decision-making and ensure alignment in the org design process to meet organizational goals and critical audience needs. Campus Sonar’s approach to research is focused on social listening—using online conversation and news as an always-on focus group to understand and assess outcomes like brand health, reputation, higher ed markets and opportunities, and associated attitudes.

I love sharing ideas with people, and often do so via conference and event speaking. I've spoken about innovation, social intelligence, marketing, leadership, and higher education at South by Southwest EDU and Interactive, the Mackinac Roundtable on Talent, AASCU, ACPA, HighEdWeb, the American Marketing Association Symposium for the Marketing of Higher Education, the UPCEA Marketing and Enrollment Management Seminar, the CASE Social Media and Community Conference and Summer Institute on Communications and Marketing, eduWeb Digital Summit, the American Multicultural Student Leadership Conference, and other industry events.

I have 20 years of experience in higher education leadership and communication in a variety of roles, including a professional association, large department, campus-level leadership, and a "higher ed adjacent" company. My latest endeavor is growing Campus Sonar so higher ed organizations can tap into the best and brightest insights and techniques from the ever-growing online conversation about them, their competitors, and other topics of interests.
