🙋 Named after a cartoon ("Mafalda" from Quino), I've been working in sales for quite some time now. My first ever sales job was a 100% commission one ("scary" some people would say) back in Florida (USA) and, from there, I also worked in sales in Belgium and in Germany, B2C and B2B, for different industries (media, tourism, tech).
🚀 Currently, I work as a Business Development & Customer Success Director for Wonderway (a sales training & performance platform) in Berlin (Germany). Believe it or not, there are 58 million salespeople in the world, which 55% of them don't have the skills they need to perform their job, which results in high turnover and dissatisfaction with the job. My duties range from managing the two departments to collaborating with the Marketing department by hosting sales webinars and workshops.
👩🏫 I believe that, like any other skill like singing or playing sports, anyone can learn how to sell as long as they have the right training and tools. Having that in mind, since March 2020, during my free time, I teach and coach prospection techniques to people who suddenly were made redundant to help them find a job. I also co-manage a jazz fusion music band called Plasticine (check them out on Instagram: plasticine.band.pt) where I'm in charge of their PR&Marketing.
👩🎤 On a personal level, I own 140+ snowglobes (yes, those globes with water and fake snow that you buy as souvenirs when you travel), I love reading, I write theater plays and song lyrics for a professional musician, play the transverse flute, and I also appear as an actress in a couple of video clips.
