What's better than doing business with clients? Doing business with friends! I'm a real people person, so much so that my mom still needs to remind me not to talk to strangers. I have this uncontrollable urge to develop and nurture relationships which helps me push my sales development team in new directions while simultaneously generating word-of-mouth virality for my consultancy.
My previous experiences as an educator were similarly motivated. Students learn best when they can form a real connection with their teacher and parents relax when they know their children are in good hands. It's also pretty hard to teach math without a personality!
