In my previous life, I covered more than 20 foreign conflicts, wars and disasters as a photojournalist for Atlantic News Service, Time and Newsweek magazines, Knight-Ridder newspapers and a host of other publications. Prior to this I worked at Compass News Features as a journalist in Washington, D.C., focusing on Congressional and international affairs.
In addition to my day jobs, I am a licensed drone pilot and an avid golfer.
