A physician and acupuncturist for 40 years, I have helped develop the field of Integrative Medicine with an emphasis on patient empowerment and patient participation in healthcare. I have written three popular books on mind/body medicine and healing and taught over 10,000 health professionals to use a powerful mind/body approach called Interactive Guided Imagery through the Academy for Guided Imagery which I Co-Founded in 1989.
