Martin Spier

Martin is a computer scientist and engineering leader, with over 16 years of experience building and scaling solutions in a broad variety of industries. Martin’s career evolved around technology and leadership, leading major initiatives at Expedia, Netflix and other companies. After over 8 years at Netflix, Martin joined PicPay, the largest digital wallet in Latin America, leading the Foundation Engineering organization, responsible for all core engineering functions, including infrastructure, internal platforms (compute, messaging, observability), architecture, developer experience and mobile platforms for PicPay. Martin is also an investor and advisor to multiple startups, and an avid open source contributor.
