I have a PhD in English literature and a gift with words that allows me to create content that is both engaging and clear. I rarely find it necessary to sacrifice either personality or precision. In addition, my background in academia gives me experience in researching and synthesizing complex material in order to teach students of various levels and identities. Whether by writing, editing, or designing comprehensive courses, I have enabled diverse audiences to consume material across digital channels. I’m happy to do this independently or as part of a team, and I will always step in as much as needed to ensure high quality for clients.
I am teaching fitness classes on a part-time basis, and I am now actively looking for temporary, freelance, or direct hire opportunities. You can check out my portfolio at https://mksmithfreelance.wordpress.com.
