Highlights:
Valedictorian, Drexel LeBow Student Commitment to Excellence award (peer award for leadership, teamwork, and high performance), honor graduate from basic training, honor graduate from AIT, multiple time soldier of the month, technical program manager, technical lead, and chief of staff.

I'm extremely team-oriented and mission-driven. I thrive in hectic, ambiguous environments where I can help people and deliver for my team.

Military:
I’ve had the honor of leading troops in both war and peace time as a Sergeant in the 82nd Airborne Division. I won multiple soldier of the month boards while at Fort Bragg and was a distinguished graduate from both basic training and AIT. My military service strengthened many valuable skills that continue to guide me today: teamwork, grit, servant leadership, the critical importance of communication, superior decision-making under pressure, and the ability to always complete the mission at hand. These skills are what have made me so successful as a leader, employee, and student.

Education:
After an honorable discharge from the military, I graduated as Valedictorian from North Carolina State University with a computer science degree while working full-time.

In December of 2018 I obtained an MBA from the Drexel LeBow College of Business and received the Drexel LeBow Student Commitment to Excellence Award. I was particularly honored to receive this award because it was voted on by peers and professors who I so greatly respect. I believe my peers selected me not primarily because of my grasp of the material, but because I consistently put others before myself and always made time to ensure everyone was as successful as they desired to be.

Career:
I started at Vanguard as a junior level developer and quickly advanced to become a project manager. I’m a project manager for two different projects while also serving as the technical lead and Chief of Staff for a senior IT leader. My projects consist of roughly 35 applications which are primarily Angular UI applications built off of Node with Express and Java web services. To further adopt and strengthen my knowledge of new technologies, I’ve also completed MEAN stack projects with a DynamoDB backend using AWS outside of the workplace.
