Do you know that feeling when you discover something perfect that you really needed, but had no idea it even existed a few seconds back? That’s me and anchovy-lemon pasta sauce. And also me and my current job.
I have always dreamt of working internationally, the idea of meeting people beyond my cozy little Slovakia fascinated me. I supported this dream by studying languages and then international humanitarian work. I had it figured out, I would travel to communities around the world and hope I can do a little good there. But life being unpredictable, I eventually found myself working as a Vendor Relations Manager in an AI/Machine Learning team. I had no idea such a position could even exist. And I had no idea how perfectly it would fit my dream job.
I now work with thousands of people from all over the world. The goal is to provide the clients with data to improve the latest Artificial Intelligence technologies. Those apps and super cool functionalities that you use on your devices every day – we probably helped improve a few. This job brings value and, amazingly (since I‘m a big noob), keeps me close to the ever-so-quickly evolving technology.
You can see more about my work below. Still, when I am not at work, these are the things I love to do: reading books (I have a soft spot for fantasy novels), watching standup comedy, tasting beer (a side-effect of living in Czechia) hiking, baking, teaching party tricks to my cat, bubble baths.
