You can call me an audio geek. In fact, I welcome it.

For as long as I can remember, I have had a fascination with audio. As a child, I would play my father’s cassette tapes for hours, and get lost in the sound. And when I did that, I began to consider what else audio could do besides just music. Those formative early experiences would be what led me to founding my second startup in 1998- Radio NET—one of the first online radio broadcasters in Europe, when I was 18, and now, Adtonos , a platform that’s changing the game when it comes to digital audio advertising.

But I’ve had something of a circuitous journey getting there. After completing my studies at Gdansk University—including a MSc in Internet Promotional Strategies, and later, a PhD in Mobile TV value networks, I spent many years first as both a radio presenter as well as an independent digital transformation consultant. Consulting with the likes of Henzel, General Motors, Reader’s Digest, as well as a number of brick and mortar establishments, my work involved building out their digital experiences. This experience was critical in laying the foundation for my work now, but ultimately I felt pulled back to the world of audio when I came upon the idea for AdTonos. I had noticed both businesses and consumers were missing the opportunity that I saw audio could provide—targeted programmatic ads that go further than simply minimising disruption to a user’s experience, but actively enriching it through interactive, engaging ads that produce value for consumers and businesses alike.

With AdTonos, my aim has always been simple: create a consumer-first audio advertising experience. Consumers want better, less disrupted content experiences. Businesses want to stop wasting their ad dollars on high-level spray ad campaigns that don’t give them the best returns.
