I am Nadine! My title says Director of Social Strategy at ZoecialMedia. But I always wanted to be a psychologist.

It's a good thing, because the most important thing in my role is psychology.

➡️ I need to understand what my customers want.

➡️ I need to interpret that and make sure we are delivering what they want into something their customers can relate to.

➡️ I need to be able to analyze huge amounts of data, and put it into clear and actionable insights that show that what we are doing on social media has a direct impact on business goals.

➡️ I need to know how to manage a vast team of highly creative, super dedicated and completely pedantic (at least they should be) social media account managers.

➡️ I need to be super creative myself. To think outside our posts and come up with funny, creative, technical, educational, and fun new ideas all the time.

I love the challenge that working in the moment of social media brings, although sometimes I question the sanity of the "urgency" of some of the requests we get.

And when I am not working, I love being a mum and wife, visiting my family overseas, and learning new things.
