🤠 Always open to trying new things, even if it fails!
Failing forward is something that I believe in strongly. I love trying new things and being curious to see what the best way to do something is, even if it doesn’t exist. Automating, researching, failing, retrying, failing again and succeeding are building blocks to building something great.
🎩 I enjoy wearing multiple hats and working to simply get it done.
I’ve been working in commerce, specifically payments and finance, for almost four years. I ran my own business, a media firm specializing in e-comm web design and dev, for 3 years before moving on to join e-commerce extraordinaire and Canadian-made Shopify. After my journey at Shopify, I joined Fast, a SF-based fintech startup, backed by Stripe. I joined Fast during a phase in which some would call hyper growth. I enjoy being able to start my days with ambiguity, and jump in where I’m needed. The best part of coming to work was my team, and being able to work dynamically–in an abundance of hats–to get things done and move projects along swiftly.

I told you! I love being able to get things done fast, efficiently and effectively. The key to being able to create great experiences for those you work and interact with is time management and passion. Being able to start my days with layout and prioritization is great, but I also love being able to flow through my days with no structure - sometimes it’s the way the best work gets done. I’m very passionate about what I do, and how I do it.
